Purpose of Parade

The Englewood Back to School Parade is a jewel in the Englewood community.    Education has always been the focus and goal of the parade.  There is a parade procession and a picnic finale at Ogden Park located at 6500 S. Racine in Chicago, IL.   In addition, to promoting the importance of staying in school to children within the community the parade creates a sense of pride and promotes a day of peace.

Mantra: “Focusing on the Possibilities not the Circumstances”

Historic Theme: “Education is the Key to the Future”
